Super Tuesday

Wow, what a day! Not only did I get a lot done at work, but upon coming home I was able to run a mile on the treadmill, play with Kyle and work on a long overdue project.
The highlight for me was watching Kyle ride his bike. He's been afraid of it since it showed up on Christmas. I don't know what happened today, but he hoped on and was riding around. He's still a little wobbly and nervous about going fast, but he'll get the hang of it. We set up cones in the driveway and he was having fun riding around them. I'm looking forward to some summer bike rides!

Lauren and I celebrated our anniversary on Friday. This year Lauren took on all of the planning, all I had to do was take the day off and follow directions. Luckily her plans were simple to follow. To start the day off we went to breakfast at the local iHop, followed by an early showing of Meet the Robinsons. In the afternoon we picked up the babysitter and went out to exchange our anniversary gifts. For dinner we had a nice dinner of Fondu at the Melting Pot. All in all a good day!

The crazy kids

There has been nothing of significant interest to report this week. Spring tried to arrive so I mowed the lawn and weeded the flower beds in front. The kids have been happy to play outside a little more. We've contemplated a garage sale to get rid of the extra stuff in the garage and misc. forgotten toys. I think we need to wait a few more weeks for warmer weather.
Of course, there's always new photo's to share:

Kyle insisted that I take a picture of his air guitar routine.

This is what dessert time has turned into!
